Carolyn has lived in Southern California, Kansas, Indiana, Ohio, Utah, and soon will reside in New York City! Observing her mother (a working actress), Carolyn became very familiar with the industry from a young age. She knew very early on that she would pursue a performing career. Right after graduating high school, she began studying Music Dance Theatre at BYU. Through her time at the university, she had many wonderful performing opportunities. Some of which include: staring in a feature film; working alongside Frank Wildhorn, Norm, Lewis, Adrienne Warren, and Jackie Burns; exploring new works; touring South Africa and Zimbabwe with the BYU Young Ambassadors’ performing group; and performing in other BYU productions. Favorite roles include: Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins, Clara in The Light In The Piazza, and Mabel in Pirates of Penzance. While not performing, Carolyn loves listening to classic music (everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Janis Joplin and more), watching re-runs of the Twilight Zone, cooking, sleeping, and watching cat videos on YouTube.
